Helideck Prohibited Landing Banners
What is a Helideck ‘Landing Prohibited’ Banner?
During periods of prohibited helicopter operations onboard a facility, the 'closed' state of the
helideck should be clearly indicated. This can be achieved by use of the signal shown below.
This signal is the standard 'landing prohibited' signal given in the Rules of the Air and Air
Traffic Control Regulations. The size of our Helideck Banner has been tailored in size to cover
the letter 'H' within the touchdown and positioning markers.
Seaward Safety’s Helideck ‘Landing Prohibited’ Banners
Using a durable, heavy duty PVC tarpaulin, our Helideck Banners are manufactured to the
Civil Aviation Authority’s “Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas CAP 37 guidance
on visible markers.”
To secure the banner safely to the helideck, our banners are manufactured with 7 metal
eyelets on each edge.
