What are Life Saving Appliance Plans?
A Life Saving Appliance (LSA) plan displays equipment which may be of vital use in an
emergency situation, as well as both the primary and secondary escape route within a facility.
Based on a client's floor plans, each LSA plan depicts mandatory symbols/pictograms such as
fire fighting equipment, first aid equipment, life jackets etc. Other essential equipment such as
spill kits, grab bags, telephones, flotation aids etc. can also be shown on the plan, as well as
muster and embarkation areas.
Our LSA plans can be customised to display a company logo, elevation, deck name and both
the platform north and true north arrows, to assist with orientation.
